Birdseeds Post Mixed Finish
VANCOUVER - Sep 14/13 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week on a mixed note.
White proso millet seed fell further for bulk product delivered to elevators in the U.S. midwest, though premiums remain in place for red and specialty millets.
Oil type sunflower markets were slightly weaker as canola lost ground relative to soybean during the past week. Confection sunflower was easier as processors began to anticipate the availability of new crop product.
