VANCOUVER - Sep 5/13 - STAT -- United States Small Confection Sunflower markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers inching % below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Small Confection Sunflower was USD$24.10 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $24.13 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $25.00 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $23.75 per cwt in August.
