Millets Collapses to Normal Price Range
VANCOUVER - Aug 23/13 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on an easier note as markets continue to try to convert into a new crop trading basis.
This was most clear in white proso millet, with growing bids dropping by half, signaling confidence supplies will quickly return to more normal levels.
Sunflower seed markets were also easier on the week, though a week ending rally in soybean and canola prices could signal a modest rebound on values early in the week.
