Canadian Special Crop Index Review
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/13 - STAT -- Canada's speciallty crop crop dealer price index finished the 2012-13 marketing year rising 2% above the recent three year average.
For the season just ended, the Special Crop Index was 206 points, compared to an annual average of 202 during the previous three year period for dry edible bean classes included in the index calculation.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was 218 points in June, while the lowest monthly average trading level was 198 points in August.
