Millet Markets Collapse
VANCOUVER - Jul 13/13 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week on a mixed note, with prices for some ingredients already influenced by this year's prospective production.
That was clearkly the case for white proso millet, which sank from U.S. $51 per 100 pounds (cwt) to a nominal $37.
Markets for the seed were affected by news seeded area in the United States will jump 195,000 acres to 530,000.
