Chickpeas Little Changed
VANCOUVER - May 24/13 - SNS -- International chickpea markets were little changed in limited trading interest during the past week.
Exports from India continue to press markets looking to sell new crop product, while their counterparts in Mexico remain relaxed.
Farmers in western Canada expressed some frustration with the way markets are operating this year.
There is a tendency to do what worked the previous year, even through the peak demand period for Canadian product appears to be in the fall shipping period.
