Mixed Week in BirdseedsVANCOUVER - Mar 1/13 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note, with sunflower easing, millet rising and canaryseed unchanged. By contrast, oil-type sunflower eased in sympathy with the oilseed complex. On the other hands, confectionary and Canadian canaryseed markets were unchanged as offers from growers stayed in close alignment with the short term needs of the market. The next market moving event for the complex will likely be the USDA's seeding intentions estimates at the end of March and Statistics Canada's seeding intentiuons estimates on April 24.
