Larger Caliber Chickpeas Hold Strength
VANCOUVER - Dec 21/12 - SNS -- World chickpea markets maintained their strength for 9mm and large product, though there were signs India's exporters could become more active.
There is some evidence India's demand during the first half of the year was based more on speculative than fundamental factors.
This has seen selling pressure develop in kabuli chickpea markets during the past week, with farmers and local traders working hard to move old crop inventory before the coming harvest.
