Domestic Demand Supports Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Nov 30/12 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week on a strong note against improved buying by domestic birdseed packagers.
This helped pull Canadian canaryseed and U.S. white proso millet prices higher on the week; while providing good support to oil and confection sunflower seed.
Birdseed and human consumption popcorn markets also finished the week on a bullish note, helped by a fundamental shortage of product available to world markets.
