Birdseed Ingredients Firm
VANCOUVER - Nov 2/12 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets maintained their firm tone through the past week as grower selling for some of the key ingredients remained just behind the short term needs of the market.
White proso millet managed to rebound after a round of harvest selling nudged prices lower during the last half of October.
Grower bids gained a cent a pound or U.S. $2.20 per metric ton (MT), forcing inter-dealer markets higher on the week.
