United States Large Confection Sunflower Grower Price ReviewVANCOUVER - Sep 3/12 - STAT -- United States Large Confection Sunflower markets finished the 2011-12 marketing year with prices offered to growers leaping 13% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country. The average price paid for Large Confection Sunflower was USD$37.68 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $33.47 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants. Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $40.00 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $36.00 per cwt in August.
