Birdseeds Maintain Firm Tone
VANCOUVER - Aug 4/12 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets maintained a firm undertone during the past week, helped by ongoing worries about the status of the millet seed crop in the United States.
This years seeded area is down and much of the crop is grown in areas affected by this years drought.
That helped lift both inter-dealer and grower markets another cent a pound during the past week.
