Few Changes in LentilsVANCOUVER - Jun 9/12 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week's trading little changed against relatively light end user buying interest. Seeding of this year's North American lentil crop is virtually complete, with over 90% of the Canadian crop in the ground. Montana's crops are further advanced with 5% already in bloom. Montana is the largest lentil producing state in the U.S. this year at a forecast 220,000 acres, followed by North Dakota at 190,000, and the U.S. Pacific Northwest at 103,000 acres.
