Chickpeas Unchanged to Firmer
VANCOUVER - May 11/12 - SNS -- International chickpea markets finished the week's trading unchanged to firmer in limited activity.
High prices continue to discourage consumer buyers from building inventories beyond short term needs; while relatively tight supplies is keeping most exporters from chasing markets.
Seeding of this year's North American crop is making good progress in the United States, but limited progress was reported in Canada.
