Mixed Week For LentilsVANCOUVER - May 4/12 - SNS -- North American lentil markets registered a mixed performance against limited origin and end user trading interest during the past week. Canadian markets finished mostly unchanged, while U.S. green lentil markets traded lower as processors and growers cleared old crop inventory. Seeding of this year's crops is running about one week late in Canada, but is well underway in the United States. Montana started the week with 75% of this year's intended lentil acreage planted.
