Markets Surprised by Canary Intentions
VANCOUVER - Apr 28/12 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week little changed amid relatively light trading interest.
Farmers in North America are starting to switch their focus to seeding this yearâs crops, with the result grower selling activity has slowed considerably.
The Canadian seedings intentions report was somewhat surprising, with farmers intending to boost canaryseed plantings from 235,000 to 274,000 acres.
