Battle for Acres Helps Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Apr 21/12 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient market values continue to be strongly influenced by the ongoing battle for acres in the United States and Canada.
Though largely fought between grains and oilseeds, minor crops need to offer growers returns which are competitive in order to retain interest.
Canadian markets will get their first signal of how well they have done in the April 24 seeding intentions report from Statistics Canada.
