Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 177,200 MT
WINNIPEG - Apr 13/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 177,200 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 116,600 from 293,800 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 35,300 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,249,900 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,249,900 MT peas down 567,600 from 1,817,500 MT last year.
