Mixed Finish in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Feb 4/12 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets posted a mixed finish under quiet trading conditions.
Most birdseed packagers and mixers continue to cover needs on a hand to mouth basis, making it hard for markets to move out current trading ranges.
Though values are good from an historic perspective, markets have not matched their bullish potential because end users have not become afraid of their ability cover needs through the end of the marketing year.
