New Crop Thinking in ChickpeasVANCOUVER - Jan 20/12 - SNS -- International chickpea markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note, with world markets starting to make the psychological transition in new crop. This started with the availability of new crop kabuli type chickpeas from Australia, but has quickened as India's harvest approaches and Mexican exporters start showing their hand about new crop pricing. It is worth noting that India's exporters seemed to be adopting a somewhat defensive posture.
