Little Change in Lentils
VANCOUVER - Jan 13/12 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week unchanged to easier in unusually quiet trading conditions.
It is not unusual for lentil trading activity to slow down in December and January, but many market participants believe this is as slow as they have ever seen it.
Limited trading in low quality 2010 crop lentils continues to be reported, with some buyers actively seeking 2010 crop No 3 and extra 3 grade lentils because of the low price.
