Limited Lentil Trading Interest
VANCOUVER - Jan 6/12 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week's trading generally unchanged against limited end user trading interest and light grower selling.
Markets are still recovering from the Christmas and New Year's holiday period, with many traders spending a short week in the office before travelling to Saskatoon for the annual Saskatchewan Pulse Growers convention.
There is a general consensus that lentil area will be down in Canada this year, with red lentils declining more than greens.
