Birdseed Ingredients Firm
VANCOUVER - Oct 29/11 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week on a mostly firmer note against higher prices for white proso millet and black sunflower seed in the United States.
Those markets are strongly influenced by the underlying commodity markets, which are in turn influenced by the European debt crisis.
A new refinancing agreement for Greece helped lift commodities at week's end at the expense of the U.S. dollar, which lost ground relative to many other currencies.
