Bearish Tension in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Oct 22/11 - SNS -- Markets for birdseeds and other specialty crops finished the week's trading sharing in the bearish tension evident among consumer buyers in other specialty crop markets.
Sunflower and white proso millet markets in the United States finished the week lower as supplies available from growers pushed ahead of the immediate needs of markets.
Canadian canaryseed markets were also easier against unusually light end-user buying interest.
