Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 322,500 MT
WINNIPEG - Oct 21/11 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 322,500 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-11 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 18,000 from 340,500 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 10,900 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 534,000 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 534,000 MT peas down 91,600 from 625,600 MT last year.
