India Tenders For Lentils
DELHI - Oct 20/11 - SNS -- Lentils are on the menu in the latest round of tenders issued by India's state trading companies.
In separate tenders, the State Trading Company of India and PEC Limited are seeking 12,000 metric tons (MT) of Canadian and U.S. origin No 2 or better large and medium green lentils for shipment in November.
India's PEC Limited will tender October 21 to buy 8,000 MT of lentils; 4,000 MT of desi chickpeas; and 6,000 MT of Urad all packed in 50 kg bags for November shipment.
