Mixed Week for Lentils
VANCOUVER - Aug 12/11 - SNS -- International lentil markets registered a mixed performance in light export trading activity over the past week.
The summer holiday season in the northern hemisphere will remain a factor in markets through the end of the month as traders working for importers and packagers focus on family more than work.
Even so, export sales were reported for green lentils, which helped keep grower bids at a premium to red for all shipping positions.
