Canadian Special Crop Index Review
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/11 - STAT -- Canada's speciallty crop crop dealer price index finished the 2010-11 marketing year leaping 9% above the recent three year average.
For the season just ended, the Special Crop Index was 194 points, compared to an annual average of 177 during the previous three year period for dry edible bean classes included in the index calculation.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was 218 points in July, while the lowest monthly average trading level was .
