Extra 3 Laird Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/11 - STAT -- Canadian Extra 3 Laird Lentil markets finished the 2010-11 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 10% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Extra 3 Laird Lentil was CDN$25.00 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $27.68 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $29.00 per cwt in October, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $20.56 per cwt in June.
