No 1 Richlea Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/11 - STAT -- Canadian No 1 Richlea Lentil markets finished the 2010-11 marketing year with prices offered to growers inching 1% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 1 Richlea Lentil was CDN$31.81 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $31.59 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $35.31 per cwt in February, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $26.95 per cwt in August.
