Mixed Finish For Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Mar 25/11 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note against relatively light end user buying interest.
Sunflower seed markets were unchanged to firmer in sympathy with the oilseed complex, which has regained much of the ground lost the previous two weeks.
In the seeds category, white proso millet and canaryseed lost about a cent in value over the past week as offers from growers remained slightly ahead of the short term needs of the market.
