VANCOUVER - Jan 21/11 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets posted another strong week, helped by bullish sentiment in major grains and oilseeds.
Competition for acres is becoming more intense, with farmers demanding that specialty crop bids reach levels which yield competitive returns per acre with other crops.
Markets firmly believe corn area must increase this year to cover all needs, while soybean and canola markets are working hard to prevent too many acres from running away from them.
