Canaryseed Leads Birdseeds Higher
VANCOUVER - Dec 17/10 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a relatively firm note, led higher by Canadian canaryseed.
Grower holding as well as better than expected export movement, especially to Mexico, has become an important factor in that market.
To the extent canaryseed growers have met cash flow needs form other crops, they are in a good position to hold product.
