Strong Finish in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Nov 7/10 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a strong note in sympathy with continued strength in major grain and oilseed markets.
This has provided important support to sunflower, with oil-type seeds rising in sympathy with stronger soybean and canola markets.
Confectionary type sunflower are finding support from that relationship, though they finished the week mostly unchanged.
