Birdseeds Continue to Firm
VANCOUVER - Oct 29/10 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets remain firm in the face on strong markets for corn and oilseeds in the United States.
Competition for acreage in 2011 is clearly a factor in prices, with corn markets trying to find a value which will ensure land is pulled out of winter wheat and soybeans and into corn.
This is lifting those markets, which in turn forces birdseed ingredient markets higher to maintain competitive returns to growers.
