Firm Finish in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Oct 23/10 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets once again finished the week's trading on a strong note as markets strove to maintain competitive bids with markets for major grains and oilseeds.
This was clearly reflected in white proso millet and sunflower markets in the United States.
Grower bids for white proso millet advanced another 50 cents per 100 pounds (cwt) on the week to finish at U.S. $8 cwt delivered to U.S. midwest locations.
