Firmer Finish in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Oct 10/10 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week on a firmer note, helped by underlying bullishness in major grains and oilseeds.
This had a direct impact on sunflower markets, with prices rising to maintain parity with soybeans and canola.
For its part, canary seed continues to be supported by slow harvest progress in western Canada.
