Pea Markets Hold Firm
VANCOIUVER - Sep 4/10 - SNS -- North American field pea markets maintained their firm tone during the past week as part of the general strength seen in pulse markets.
Markets are being helped by the worries about feed ingredient supplies from drought ravaged central Europe, which has resulted in general strength in international coarse grain and protein markets.
This was clearly reflected in soybean and soybean meal markets, both of which managed week over week gains.
