Mixed Finish in Birdseeds
VANCOIUVER - Sep 4/10 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note, with sunflower markets rising in sympathy with major grains and oilseeds.
The U.S.-based National Sunflower Association also reports, "The Black Sea region (encompassing Ukraine and Russia) will reduce their sunflower oil exports this year due to lower production.
"Western Europe will likely increase their imports of sunflower oil due to a reduction in both sunflower and rapeseed production and continued strong biodiesel production."
