VANCOUVER - Aug 10/10 - STAT -- Canadian Eston Lentil markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices creeping 2% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Eston Lentil was USD$35.34 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $34.67 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $40.25 per cwt in January, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $31.13 per cwt in September.
