During the latest three year period, the highest monthly average trading level was $25.25 per cwt in June, compared to the lowest monthly average of $22.00 per cwt in December.
In the following tables, STAT Market Research shows the historic price patterns seen in Canadian inter-dealer markets. These are most obvious in the first table, which examines monthly averages as a percentage of the annual average return.
The data looks at the latest marketing year, and averages for the latest three. We also look at years where production was roughly 20% below normal; 20% or more above normal; and plus or minus 10% of normal for the mid-production years.
