French Green Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 10/10 - STAT -- Canadian French Green Lentil markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices advancing 6% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for French Green Lentil was USD$34.44 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $32.63 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $38.75 per cwt in January, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $30.00 per cwt in July.
