No 1 Richlea Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 9/10 - STAT -- Canadian No 1 Richlea Lentil markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers inching % below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 1 Richlea Lentil was CDN$30.41 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $30.44 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $34.95 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $26.00 per cwt in October.
