8mm Kabuli Chickpea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 9/10 - STAT -- Canadian 8mm Kabuli Chickpea markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 8% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for 8mm Kabuli Chickpea was CDN$552.02 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $596.81 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $584.23 per MT in October, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $485.00 per MT in July.
