No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 9/10 - STAT -- Canadian No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 5% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 2 B-90 Type Chickpea was CDN$444.72 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $466.37 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $485.00 per MT in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $396.80 per MT in July.
