Lentils Maintian Firm Tone
VANCOUVER - Aug 7/10 - SNS -- North American lentil markets maintained their firm tone through the past week despite growing optimism about crop prospects in western Canada.
The ranks of the pessimists have declined considerably in recent days as most market participants have come to the opinion that areas with poor yields will be offset by those with good.
On the other hand, there remains a general belief the average quality of the crop will be lower on account of weathering and disease.
