Little Change In Birdseeds
PANAMA - May 10/24 - SNS - North American birdseed ingredient markets were little changed in seasonally light activity during the past week
Progress planting white proso millet is being recorded in parts of the growing area in the United States, while farmers in Canada had not started planting this year;'s canaryseed week crop as the week got underway.
On average 21% of the crop is in the ground by the end of the first week of May, with progress ranging from zero in 2022 to 32% complete in 2021 and 2019.
