No Changes In Mustard

PANAMA - Sep 29/23 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets were unchanged during the past week, reflecting good balance between the interests of buyers and sellers.

This year's mustard seed harvest is essentially complete in western Canada, with Saskatchewan Agriculture reporting it started the week at 98% complete in that province, up from 94% last season and well above the previous five year average of 85.2% in the bin by the third week of September.

Markets are waiting for the next yield projections from provincial agriculture departments, which are based on numbers submitted by regional crop reporters. Canada's final, survey based, production estimates will not be available until December.
