Moderate Volatility In Mustard
PANAMA - Sep 22/23 - SNS -- Recent volatility remained in play in mustard seed markets with values tending to respond to short term rather than long term needs.
This resulted in advances in grower bids in western Canada for yellow mustard seed, while oriental was unchanged and brown eased.
The shifts lifted yellow back into decile nine territory along with oriental and brown, which means prices offered farmers were lower less than 10% of the time since 1988.
