Oil-type Sunflower Imports By Bulgaria Reveal Weak Month
PANAMA - Feb 21/23 - SNS -- Bulgaria's imports of oil-type sunflowers during December were well down, plunging versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 100,282 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 27% from the 136,686 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 1,275,149 MT, compared to 488,689 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The latest trade statistics reported Ukraine was biggest export origin, selling 99,783 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter supplying 409 MT, followed by Argentina at 44 MT.
